Film Programme
Curated by Lorenzo Giusti, Alice Labor, Marta Papini
MUSE - Museum of Science in Trento and Biennale Gherdëina have teamed up to create a series of artist film screenings that expand the perspectives of the biennale by proposing other narratives and other interspecies alliances, pushing beyond the categories of animate and inanimate, organic and inorganic, human and animal. The films investigate the wild, the complexities of the Anthropocene, and the ecological crises of our time through moving images, with critical and poetic perspectives, showing other possible visions of a stratified time ranging from mountains to rivers, from villages to museums. Each film is introduced by a researcher from the MUSE, showing the intersection of narratives and research between artistic and scientific language, between local and global.
